Support and contact

Support

Support can help with browser-local workflow problems, checkout, license restore, and bug reports. Please keep sensitive document contents out of support requests.

No upload for core tools

Supported PDFs, PNGs, and JPGs are opened and processed in the browser workflow.

No account for free basics

Start basic local import, page edits, and exports without a PrivateLocalPDF login.

No watermark

Basic local PDF exports are not branded or held behind a watermark.

Checkout stays separate

The Local License handoff uses license metadata, not PDF bytes or document-derived data.

Contact

Email support@privatelocalpdf.com for launch support. Do not attach PDFs or include sensitive document contents unless a future reviewed support flow explicitly asks for a synthetic or non-sensitive test file.

Helpful details to include

  • The public route or tool you were using, such as /pricing, /pdf-tools/merge-pdf, or the Packet Builder.
  • Browser family and device class, such as Chromium desktop or Safari mobile.
  • The visible error message or status text, rewritten without filenames or document contents.
  • Whether the issue also happens with the synthetic sample packet.
  • Checkout receipt id, Local License status, or masked license key details for payment and activation issues.

Do not send

  • PDF files, screenshots of document pages, thumbnails, page images, file names, file paths, or document text.
  • Personal identifiers, school, employer, landlord, patient, client, account, tax, legal, or financial details.
  • Raw console logs, stack traces, local storage dumps, HAR files, or request bodies from real document sessions.

Support scope

Support is for product behavior, checkout, license restore, and launch bugs. PrivateLocalPDF cannot provide legal, compliance, tax, medical, financial, or identity-signing advice.
