Sign PDF Locally
Place lightweight approval marks on pages before exporting a flattened PDF packet from the browser workspace.
Local processing boundary
Overlays remain local and can be flattened into the exported PDF when requested.
Free basics do not require an account and exported PDFs are not watermarked. Larger local packets and batch workflows may require the one-time Local License and still depend on browser limits.
How it works locally
- Open the PDF or image packet in the browser workspace.
- Select a page and place text, signature-style, or checkmark overlays.
- Flatten visible edits into the exported PDF when you need normal viewer compatibility.
Good for
- Permission slips
- Approval initials
- Simple checkmarks
- Routine form packets
Limits to know
- This is a simple overlay workflow, not identity verification or certificate signing.
- Flattening visible edits is not redaction and does not remove hidden PDF content.
- E-sign compliance, certificate-backed audit trails, OCR, cloud signing, and password protection are separate workflows.
